The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again fielded Kirron Kher from Chandigarh, where she is pitted against Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal and AAP’s Harmohan Dhawan. There was speculation earlier that the BJP would opt for a completely new face from this seat. Bansal, on the other hand, has blamed Kher for a drop in the city’s ranking from third to 20th spot in Swachh Survekshan 2019. He does not have any intention to work,” Kher claimed. Kher has, however, remained a judge on the TV show India’s Got Talent since 2009.
