Kirinyaga - Police have launched investigations following the death of a 29-year-old woman and her 5-year-old child in Kabironi village, Kirinyaga county. Moreen Wangui fell and drowned in River Nyamindi in Kirinyaga county. Wachira said police officers are presently working together with the residents in a bid to retrieve the bodies from the river. The shocked family said the woman had visited her grandparents and was last seen washing clothes before she mysteriously disappeared. Reports seen by TUKO.co.ke showed that the two students drowned in the Enkare River on Thursday, April 25.
