The 10-second short films, which have redefined the concept of shorts in India, are creating quite a buzz on the Indian social media and have been received positively, reports the Hindustan Times. Kiran directed “Dhobi Ghat” in 2010 and produced some of the excellent movies to date, including “Peepli Live,” “Delhi Belly” and “Talaash.”Kiran’s husband, famed actor Aamir Khan, were among those who liked the shorts. Sharing the films, Aamir said he never thought it would be possible to tell a story in just 10 seconds, but Kiran made it possible. The shorts highlight social injustice and showcase how times have changed and people are ready to fight back against such practices.
