Former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi has vowed never to betray President William Ruto again. The politician said he has decided to work with President Ruto's Kenya Kwanza government for good without any conditions. Kiraitu was a key linchpin in the Azimio coalition that lost to President Ruto in the August 9, 2022 polls. ''I am here to confirm that I am ready to work with President Ruto to make sure his government becomes the most successful ever that Kenya has ever had,'' Kiraitu said. President Ruto has asked Parliament to establish the office to ensure there is a strong opposition to check his government.
