Police in Kingston, Ont., say residents in the Rideau Heights area can leave their homes even though officers are still searching for a man believed to have fired a gun following a Saturday morning crash. A man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but police said those injuries don't seem to be gunshot-related. It's believed the altercation occurred after a collision involving "one or more vehicles," said Kingston Police Sgt. At one point more than a dozen police cruisers were involved in the search for the man, Koopman said. The suspect is believed to be a man in his 20s who was wearing a white shirt and blue pants.
