PETALING JAYA: The official royal speech of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V (pic) will be broadcast on all television and radio stations in conjunction with the King's birthday. The speech will be broadcast on Sept 8 at 9pm. The King's official birthday will be celebrated on Sept 9. Previously, the government agreed to move the official birthday of the Sultan Muhammad V birthday from July 29 to Sept 9. The amendment will take effect for the next five years under the rule of Sultan Muhammad V from 2017 to 2021.
