India’s Chennai City and Malaysia’s Terengganu make up Group B, while Group A comprises host Chittagong Abahani Limited, Laos’ Young Elephants, India’s Mohun Bagan and defending champion, Maldives’ TC Sports. State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel, BFF president Kazi Salahuddin and Chittagong Abahani president and vice chairman of the tournament committee, MA Latif were present among others during the draw ceremony. The runners-up side will pocket $25,000 while each participating team will get $10,000 as appearance money. The tournament will kick off in the port city next Saturday while the final will take place on October 29.
