New Zealand squash professional Joelle King secured another healthy payday and will climb further in the world rankings after she took Egyptian world No 3 Nour El Tayeb to the wire in the Windy City Open final in Chicago. Ranked ninth in the world, King came back from a twisted ankle in the third game and showed plenty of fight throughout a match that went the distance. In her first World Series final King had two championship balls at 10-8 in the fifth game but couldn't capitalise and ultimately lost 8-11 12-10 13-11 9-11 10-12 in 78 minutes.
