His Majesty King Abdullah met on Saturday with Chairman of the Subcommittee on Middle East, North Africa and International Terrorism of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee Ted Deutch. The meeting, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, covered the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States. King Abdullah expressed appreciation for the United States’ support for a number of development programmes in Jordan. Regional issues, especially the peace process, were also discussed. Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas and Jordan’s Ambassador in Washington, DC, Dina Kawar attended the meeting.
