MANILA, Philippines — Singer-actress Kim Chiu has a new movie titled "The Ghost Bride," to be shown on November 1 in cinemas nationwide. “Para akong nasa Cloud 9 ‘pag sinasabi nyang ‘Ikaw talaga first choice ko dito, ikaw talaga, ikaw talaga,’ so parang ako, hindi kita ifa-fail, I’ll try my best para hindi ka I-fail’,” Kim said. “The Ghost Bride” is a Chinese tradition about getting married to a departed one. According to Chinese custom, an unmarried woman agrees to become a ghost bride for several reasons. Kim affirmed that being a “ghost bride” can make a girl instantly get rich, especially if the woman was paid by a deceased man’s family to continue the dead man’s line.
