Killing off Scottish oil and gas only to buy it abroad is crazy... and only Reform can see it

At the end of the 20th century, when the Scottish Parliament was formed, 74% of UK energy demand came from oil and gas, supplied mostly from Scottish shores. ‌While there has been lots of narrative on the energy transition, that has not translated into equivalent jobs or income levels for Scottish workers. ‌Energy is about more than electricity - gas demand in Scotland is twice the electricity demand. That means there is an 87% chance a Scottish home is heated with oil and gas. Labour's oil and gas policies mean workers and skillsets are being lost, with communities hollowed out.
