A concrete company in Co Kildare has been fined €80,000 following the death of an employee. Flanagan Concrete Products Limited, based in Rathangan in Co Kildare, was fined a total of €80,000 by Judge Elva Duffy at a sitting of Naas Circuit Court on Thursday, March 12, following a fatal work-related incident which occurred at Feighcullen in Rathangan, Co Kildare nearly five years ago.
