The Atletico Madrid defender denied seven alleged breaches which are said to have occurred in July 2019. He requested a personal hearing but an independent regulatory commission upheld four of the alleged offences. An FA statement said: "Kieran Trippier has been suspended for ten weeks and fined £70,000, following misconduct in relation to breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules.
