A barmaid separated from her husband has been arrested for allegedly stabbing him to death after a quarrel in Kiawara Township, Kieni West, Nyeri county. Alice Wangu, 30, separated with her 40-year-old husband Samuel Mwangi a few months ago due to regular domestic quarrels and rented a separate house. Mwangi, a butcher, went to her new house and found another man inside. It is during the melee that Wangu is said to have grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Mwangi in the stomach. Kieni West Police boss John Kemboi said she will be charged with murder.
