Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has asked the NLC to speedily revoke the title deeds for more than 2,000 plots on riparian reserves. Many developers bought land from land buying companies that issued them share certificates. The law previously required one to have title deed to seek building approval. City Hall said it will demolish the Sh1 billion building on a river valley if owner Bobasi MP Stephen Manoti does not. Kidero further said on Wednesday that the building opposite T-Mall will be demolished.
