VANCOUVER—A local entrepreneur who is selling kits that help people make cannabis-infused edibles had his crowdfunding campaign suspended after it reached its goal of $10,000. Justin Lloyd secured $10,000 on Kickstarter for “The Edibles Kit,” a do-it-yourself kit that would give people the tools to make their own cannabis-infused edibles at home. A local entrepreneur’s crowdfunding campaign for a kit to make homemade cannabis candy has been suspended by Kickstarter. Health Canada has said cannabis edibles and vape concentrates will become legal “approximately a year after” Oct. 17. He considers ‘The Edibles Kit’ to be an educational product.
