A Standard Six pupil at Mikuyuni Primary School in Kibwezi died on Thursday after he was allegedly kicked by a teacher. The 14-year-old breathed his last on arrival at Kibwezi Amref Sub-county Hospital where he had been taken for treatment. Kibwezi Police Commander Ben Chagulo said the police are investigating the puzzling death to establish the cause. "It's true the pupil has passed on at the facility but we will let the investigating team to tell us what caused his death," he said. The body has been moved to Makindu Sub-county Hospital mortuary.
