The Danish Car of the Year 2024, organized by Danske Motorjournalister, an Association of Danish Motor Journalists, saw the SUV picking up Innovation Award 2024. The car has also been a finalist in 2024 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year, European Car of the Year 2024 and 2024 World Car Awards. The EV9 has gained people's attention around the world throughout this year when the company introduced the all-electric unit. It won the Reader Award in the UK's 2023 Car of the Year Awards by auto market reviewer, What Car?, in January.
