[Standard]The Kiambaa parliamentary by-election is too close to call as Jubilee Party and United Democratic Alliance candidates continue to engage in a neck and neck contest. One hundred and fifty-two (152) polling stations out of 154 have so far streamed in their results, with UDA candidate John Njuguna in the lead. Out of the 152 polling stations, Njuguna has 21,301 votes whereas Jubilee Party candidate Njama Kariri has 21,057, a difference of 244 votes. Koinange, who was Kiambaa representative to the National Assembly since 2017, succumbed to Covid-19 complications aged 72.
