ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Industries and Production Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar on Friday called on the fertilizer industry to increase the supply of urea by 30% nationwide to ease the market. The Minister of Industries and Production chaired the weekly fertilizer review meeting. The meeting reviewed the situation of the supply chain and the production trajectory of fertilizer plants. After extensive deliberations, Bakhtyar stated that the Fatima Fertilizer plants based in Sindh and Agri Tech units will be operating at full capacity until January to February 2022. He led the oil division to ensure gas supply to urea plants in accordance with revised gas supply priority orders.
