Khulna Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shahidul Islam passed the order on Wednesday. According to court sources, Arafat got Robiul Islam—accused in a case filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act—released from jail by submitting forged documents of the High Court in 2018. His forgery came to light when the plaintiff presented genuine papers of the High Court to the court. Later, Md Rezaul Karim, judge of the court, filed a case against the lawyer on March 21, 2018.
