SP M Shafiullah | UNBCovid-19 death toll in Bangladesh rose to 4,248 on Sunday as 42 more people died from the virus in the last 24 hoursM Shafiullah, superintendent of Khulna police, and three of his family members have been diagnosed with coronavirus (Covid-19). The SP was admitted at Khulna Medical College Hospital on Friday night, Shahidul Islam Mukul, an associate professor at the hospital, said on Monday. The test results of the samples taken from the SP, his wife and two children came out positive on August 28, Shahidul said. Covid-19 death toll in Bangladesh rose to 4,248 on Sunday as 42 more people died from the virus in the last 24 hours. Besides, the total confirmed cases surged to 3,10,822 with 1,897 fresh cases detected by testing 11,934 samples during the period.
