Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday failed to appear in NAB’s ongoing investigations against him where he is alleged to have misused authority during his tenure as petroleum minister. Abbasi was summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) at its office with a questionnaire the anti-graft watchdog had given to him beforehand. However, neither the former PM appeared before NAB nor did he submit the answers to the questionnaire. NAB officials claimed that delaying tactics were being employed by the accused to drag the case. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) released the questionnaire handed over to Abbasi from NAB on media.
