Muhammad Saifur Rahman, special officer and the spokesperson of the Supreme Court, said the report has reached the Registrar General Office on Wednesday. The court also set Thursday for holding a hearing on Khaleda's bail petition in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case. On December 12, 2019, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court turned down the bail petition of Khaleda Zia in the graft case. A Dhaka special court jailed the BNP chief and three others for seven years in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case on October 29, 2018. Khaleda has been in jail since she was convicted in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case on February 8, 2018.
