BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Thursday instructed her party men not to make any imprudent decision and resort to violence while protesting a special court’s verdict against her. “No one could weaken my moral fibre, and I will not bow down to anyone either,” Khaleda told her party leaders, minutes before landing in jail. Issuing a special directive to BNP leaders and activists, she instructed them to stay united and face any danger together. Meanwhile, the BNP announced a two-day countrywide demonstration program for Friday and Saturday in protest against the jailing of its chairperson, Khaleda. “BNP leaders and activists will stage demonstrations across the country, including all district towns and upazila headquarters, in a peaceful manner as per directive of our chairperson Khaleda Zia,” he said.
