BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday advised her lawyers to bring the matter of her “illnesses” to the notice of the Supreme Court to secure her bail. Khaleda’s lawyer Abdur Rezzak Khan told this to reporters after meeting her in old Dhaka Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road. Khaleda also asked them to notify the apex court that the High Court had granted her bail on health reasons, he added. Zainul, also the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, said they found the BNP chief in a “critical” condition. On March 12, Khaleda secured four months’ bail from the High Court in the case.
