The main suspect in the murder of eight-year-old Shantel Nzembi has been held for seven more days pending investigations. Nativity Mutindi will remain under the custody of Kitengela police station after the prosecution successfully made an application at the Kajiado law courts. Mutindi was arraigned alongside another suspect - Patrick Mureithi - but both never took plea. Another suspect - Agnes Nzioka - was released last Friday after detectives said she had no connection to the murder. She allegedly met the main suspect in Kitengela while both were allegedly looking for houses to rent.
