By Steve BufferyTORONTO — Blue Jays fans were still buzzing on Tuesday about Kevin Pillar’s catch on a ball hit by Mookie Betts of the Boston Red Sox on Monday night. Unfortunately that one was one that made me a little sore.”Some observers rank the catch as Pillar’s best ever. When you’re going to be a guy who goes out there and plays the way I do, you’re going to get some bumps and bruises and you’ve just got to learn how to put it aside and figure out a way to focus on what needs to be done. Same for Mike Trout of the Angels, another solid defensive centre fielder who has missed games with hamstring and thumb injuries. Many believe that opens the door for Pillar to finally win his Gold Glove, but curiously, Pillar said he is thinking of that less this year than he has the last couple of years.
