It has been over three years since the bodies of Barry and Honey Sherman were founded murdered in their Toronto home and police have made no arrests in the billionaires’ deaths. While there has been little movement in the case, the Sherman family and several associates have been locked in disputes over how best to control the estimated $10 billion in assets, as well as how to handle the family’s several charitable pursuits. Kevin Donovan, the Star’s chief investigative reporter, has been covering the Sherman family since Barry and Honey’s bodies were discovered in their pool room on December 15, 2017. Donovan joins “This Matters” to give an update on one aspect of the investigation and talk about the aftermath of the crime and how it has affected the Sherman family and business.
