KUALA LUMPUR: Several suspects tied to the deadly fire which killed 23 people at a tahfiz centre in Datuk Keramat earlier this month, will be brought to the Jalan Duta court tomorrow for prosecution. However, he did not disclose how many of the seven suspects would be charged. On the morning of Sept 14, a fire broke out at the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz centre in Keramat. The incident is the second worst fire-related tragedy to involved tahfiz schools in Malaysia. Since the Keramat incident, the government had formed a task force to formulate streamlined safety practices for tahfiz schools.
