Harambee Stars Ace and Al Duhail SC forward, Michael Olunga, was presented with the 2021 Asian Champions League Golden Boot for emerging as the top scorer this past season. Currently, he has scored 13 League goals this season- the top scorer at the moment. During the tie with Al Khor, Al Duhail were, however, held to a 1-1 draw with Olunga's colleague, Korean Nam Tae Hee, clinching the first goal. Olunga later moved to Swedish side Djurgårdens IF on a four-year contract, where he exceeded expectations and emerged fifth at the top scorers table. In January 2021, he moved to Al Duhail on a three seasons contract.
