Team Kenya trio of Emmanuel Korir, Emmanuel Wanyoyi and Wycliff Kinyamal are safely through to the 800m final at the ongoing World Athletics championship in Oregon. World under 20 champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi qualified as one of the fastest losers after being placed third in his heat. Jakob Ingebrigsten was placed second in 13:13.92 with Guatemala's Luis Grijelva third in 13:14.04. Daniel Simiu was placed sixth in 13:15.17 but still sailed through as one of the fastest losers (q). Nicholas Korir also grabbed also sailed through as one ofbthe fastest losers after finishing sixth in his heat in a time of 13:24.56.
