The teams qualified for the championship after impressive results in the Zone Five Seniors Beach Volleyball Championship held in Entebbe, Uganda last month. Mueni held brief for Too, who was away in Tunisia with Kenya Pipeline for the African Club Championship. The top two men and women’s teams at the end of the tournament will represent Africa at the World Championship in Vienna, Austria. Men’s championship is set for July 28 to 6 August this year, while the women’s event is scheduled for July 28 to August 5.
