A Kenyan medic was murdered in Essen, Germany, on Wednesday evening by an attacker who raided her retail store. Waithera's family, who live in Kayole estate in Naivasha, have cried foul and demanded justice for their daughter who had lived in Germany for eight years. The deceased's brother Samuel Njuguna said he had reached the Kenyan embassy in Germany but was referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nairobi. Njuguna said reports from friends in Germany indicated his sister was stabbed by an unknown man who fled. “Our only hope in flying the body back, for a decent burial, lies in the Kenyan government as the family is cash-strapped."
