A 24-year-old Kenyan man who resides in Kansas City has been charged with rape. He is accused of jumping into a stranger’s car outside a nightclub and driving away with a sleeping woman and sexually assaulting her by the side of the road. According to Kansas City police, an officer on patrol shortly before 3 am Sunday encountered Kirui and a 22-year-old woman in a vehicle parked by the road. WOMAN SCREAMINGAccording to court records, the officer heard the woman scream, “Help me, help me, help me,” and saw Kirui throw her out of the vehicle through the open passenger door. Kirui is in police custody at the Jackson County jail and his bond was set at Sh1.5 million ($150,000) cash.
