Daily NationThe newspaper reported on Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s office having requested an additional KSh 450 million for hospitality and helicopter leasing, according to documents tabled in parliament. The office had already been allocated KSh 523 million for hospitality but is seeking an extra KSh 350 million, which would push the total to KSh 873 million before the financial year ends in June. If approved, the DP’s total allocation would rise to KSh 4.9 billion, 64% higher than the KSh 2.97 billion approved in June 2025. Kericho Public Health officials will monitor the entire process. Emurua Dikirr is polling 44,447 voters in 94 polling stations with the by-election expected to cost KSh 59 million.
