Over 1.4 million pupils sat the 2023 KCPE, with 8,525 candidates scoring over 400 marks. The act repealed the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) and established three new funds: the Social Health Insurance Fund, the Primary Healthcare Fund and the Chronic Illness and Emergency Fund.
