Diamond is said to charge not less than $70,000 (KSh 8 million) for shows outside Tanzania and $50,000 (KSh 6 million) for shows within Tanzania. For Azimio, Diamond stood at $100,000 (KSh 11.9 million) before he could jet in to perform. The negotiations, as Daily Nation reports, were spearheaded by Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.
