Kenyan Association of Persons with Disability Urges Gen Zs to End Protests, Engage Gov't in Dialogue

Nairobi: The Association of Persons with Disability now wants the Kenyan youth to shun returning to the streets for protests and instead give a chance to the national dialogue touted by President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga. The PWDs argue the protests have been putting their lives in danger. "First and foremost, we condemn the protests that have disrupted normal life and exacerbated challenges faced by all citizens, especially PWDs. As previously reported, Ruto together with Raila agreed to convening a national dialogue to address the issues raised by the youth. The former prime minister backed Ruto's sentiments, saying it was the best way to get the country out of the current crisis.
