Kenya on Monday recorded 170 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the country's case load to 320,399 , Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has said. The country's fatalities have risen to 5,558 after another four patients succumbed to the disease on diverse dates. Kagwe said that there are 721 patients currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 5,733 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. Some 40 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 38 of them on ventilatory support while two are on supplemental oxygen. Total recoveries now stand at 291,917 of whom 239,954 are from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program, while 51,963 are from various health facilities countrywide.
