Kenya on Thursday recorded 18 new cases of Covid-19 from a sample size of 2,086 tested in the last 24 hours. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said in a statement that from the cases, 13 are Kenyans while 5 are foreigners, 10 males, and 8 females. Total recoveries were 317,882 of whom 264,856 are from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program, while 53,026 are from various health facilities countrywide. Three patients are currently admitted to various health facilities while 130 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. The total number of vaccines administered in the last 24 hours is 8,425 while the total number of people fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours is 5,498.
