Kenya on Saturday recorded 112 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 2,214 tested in the last 24 hours. Nairobi accounted for 91 of the new cases, Kitui 10, Murang’a 6, Kiambu 3 and Kericho two cases. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said 63 patients have recovered from the disease, all from the Home-Based and Isolation Care Program. There are seven patients currently admitted in various health facilities while 1,078 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. No patient is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), none is on supplemental oxygen and no patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
