Rosa Associati athletes’ management company head Gabriele Rosa and his son Federico Rosa spent the better part of Monday at the DCI on Kiambu Road. Rosa Associati manages most of the country’s top athletes including some who have been banned for anti-doping violations, including Rita Jeptoo. Sources close to the investigations alleged they were being questioned over doping and anti-doping violations in the country. The development comes barely four months after the company, alongside Gerard van de Veen’s Volare Sports, was suspended by Athletics Kenya for six months but reinstated under unclear circumstances. There were also allegations that Italy-born Gabriele was tasked with explaining his activities since he was in the country under a tourist visa.
