Kenya : Wind park power company now sells off its properties


According to the joint receiver managers, this was after the company faced financial constrains that saw it close business. The company intended to put up a wind power project in, Kinangop, Nyandarua that would cost Sh 12 billion and would generate 60.8 mega watts. Since its inception in 2004, the project has faced various challenges with a section of local residents and leaders opposing it. The company has now advertised for bidders to purchase the equipment that it had already acquired for the project.
