Updated Mon, July 4th 2016 at 12:15 GMT +3KERICHO, KENYA: Three students from Lelu secondary school in Kipkelion West constituency have been arrested over the Sunday night suspected arson attack on a dormitory at the institution. He pointed out that since the government banned the practice, cases of gross indiscipline among high school students had escalated and led to destruction of school properties through fires. During the 8pm incident, 150 students had their personal belongings destroyed. The officer added that the suspects who are being held at Kipkelion Police Station would be arraigned in court once investigations are complete. "The ban on corporal punishment has literally given high school students a license to misbehave and lack respect for anyone and properties which have cost millions of shilling to put up.
