Kenya Power through a public notice announced that eleven areas in Nairobi will experience an 8-hour blackout on Sunday, January 22. Apart from Nairobi, Kenya Power announced that select regions in Busia County would also experience an 8-hour power blackout. KPLC“The selected regions in Nairobi and Busia will be off due to planned maintenance,” Kenya Power stated in the Notice. Kenya Power further revealed select areas in Lab and Allied region that will have no power. “You may also dial *977# to easily report power failure,” Kenya Power stated.
