As Clerk, Sialai, 56 will be the Accounting Officer of the National Assembly. He will be responsible for all policy and organisational matters relating to the national assembly. He will also be the chief advisor of the Speaker of the National Assembly. “Other than Mr Sialai, none of the applications met the minimum qualifications for appointment as clerk of the National Assembly,” said the report of the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) that interviewed Sialai.
