The Speaker ruled that the MCAs' utterances may have led to an incident in which Kisumu West MCA Paul Okwiri was said to have been kidnapped by unknown people. MCAs Osumba Olum (Kolwa Central), Willis Ogonyo (Muhoroni/Koru), Moses Ochele (East Kano) and Samuel Ong'ow (Masogo-Nyangoma) were forced to leave the chambers yesterday afternoon after Ms Adul delivered the ruling. The four will serve varied terms with Mr Ochele expected to be out for 28 days, Mr Ogonyo eight days while both Mr Olum and Mr Ong'ow received a suspension of four days each. The MCAs will not attend any committee sittings as well as enjoy other privileges, including allowances.
