The remaining part of the Sh35 billion electrification project according to the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) shall be completed in the next two months. The Authority commenced the National Public Primary Schools Electrification project as part of Jubilee government flagship meant to facilitate digital learning. He said 22,249 public primary schools have fully been electrified and plans are in place to publicly declare that the project has been a success. He said as a means to monitor development, locals will now have a chance to send confirmation reports via the authority website on schools that have not been connected to power.
