Father William Charles Fryda and the Assumption Sisters of Nairobi are facing off in court over the ownership of St Mary's Mission Hospital. Mwikali said the Sisters had to open other bank accounts to run normal operations of the hospital. She told the court that the idea of starting St Mary's Mission hospital came after a long wait to inherit Nazareth Mission Hospital from Consolata Sisters whose handing over took longer than anticipated. Other donors included Franciscan Funds Mission from USA, Sisters of Mercy and International Foundation in New Jersey among others.
